Yannis, who co-founded Nomint and was one of the creators has this to say about the project: "This is our third collaboration with WWF and every time we set ourselves an impossible production task, this time trying to combine stop-motion and real smoke! If that wasn't enough we were convinced that the only way to make this film work was to get the sync rights for "When the party's over". Luckily fate brought us to Matt and the Twelve Decibels team who achieved the remarkable feat of not only securing the rights to the song but also supervised the re-record by the wonderful Hughie Gavin and his haunting Social Singing Choir.”

We were music consultants across the whole project. Once the idea to re-record a famous track was agreed we spent the summer months researching track ideas as well as artist ideas specifically with a bespoke cover in mind. Hughie Gavin’s The Social Singing Choir quickly came to mind for ‘When The Party’s Over’. Hughie’s beautiful arrangements along with his atmospheric production were perfect for the job. The collaboration with Hughie was natural right from the start and as always Faber & Manners McDade made this relationship all the more easy.

Finally, Kobalt Music were integral in making licensing this track possible. They were immediately on board with the cause and helped present the idea as early as possible to Finneas who was delighted to be associated with such an important film and beautiful re-record. Thanks again :)
