We were tasked with creating a bespoke composition to score The Sound Of Elroq for a brilliant global campaign that features 5 distinct scripts, culminating in a 45 second combination of scripts as seen above. Each script has a very different character, from Chipmunk to Hummingbird and Snowdrop to Cloud. These characters are used as visual metaphors for different features of the Elroq and therefore needed distinct personalities whilst still linking back to the singular ‘Elroq’ sound. Without doubt this was an exercise in sonic / audio branding.

To add to the challenge, the music needed to be very sparse in production to leave space for the VO and not distract from the wonderful visuals. We therefore attached an instrument to each character and worked with an expert composer who knew exactly how to get every ounce of personality out of as few notes as possible!
